“We need to reimagine the archives not as a file folder or museum exhibits, but as part of a living ecosystem. One that holds stories, identities, and voices. Archives truly live when they remain rooted in their source community.”

Bridging Learning Poverty Through Cultural Archives

As Managing Director of The Inteligente Publishing and co-author of the I-ALPHA-HL initiative, we’ve partnered with Bohol Island State University to build barangay-based human libraries—living cultural archives rooted in community knowledge.

This project addresses one urgent goal: to bridge the learning poverty gap by grounding education in the lived experiences, values, and voices of local communities. Through research, localized learning tools, and values-based training, we aim to transform cultural memory into an engine for inclusive, regenerative learning.

Every barangay holds knowledge worth conserving. Our mission is to ensure they’re both archived and activated.
